Controls, history, saved work, sharing and exact exports.
The desktop workspace supports widths of 1180 pixels and above. Inspector and preset/export panels scroll independently of the canvas.
Shape a recipe
Choose any of the 25 generators. Grouped controls, the editable seed and Recipe JSON update one validated workspace state. Invalid JSON stays editable while the last valid preview remains visible.
The preview renders in a worker with a CPU fallback when workers are unavailable. Animation pauses in hidden tabs and respects reduced motion.
Shader Gradient shows a flat, full-frame texture using the same rendering engine as exports. Switching between Presets and Export keeps the artwork unchanged. The preview is scaled to fit the workspace; the downloaded file uses your exact dimensions and pixel ratio.
History
Use Undo and Redo in the toolbar or Ctrl/Cmd+Z and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z. Ctrl+Y also redoes. Text fields retain their normal editing shortcuts.
Reset restores generator defaults, seed 42, landscape dimensions, pixel ratio 1, image mode and the default output format. Reset can be undone.
Save and share
Save keeps parameters, seed, dimensions, pixel ratio, format and mode together. Curated presets set parameters and seed; saved presets restore complete settings.
Share creates a link with the canonical recipe in r and separate w, h, pr, format and mode parameters. Existing links containing only r still work.
Exact exports
Use the Export panel to enter width, height and pixel ratio. Fields commit on blur or Enter. The Actual output row shows physical pixel dimensions.
Dimensions must be integers from 16 to 4096, pixel ratio from 0.5 to 3, and total output at most 16,777,216 pixels. MP4 requires even physical dimensions. Unsupported combinations show an error rather than silently cropping or resizing.
All downloads use the rendering service. GIF and MP4 exports show job progress, cancellation and retry. Export history is available in Account.
